The port has become a major logistics hub, gathering goods from over 10 provinces, including Tianjin, Anhui, Hunan and Sichuan. The number of operational routes has grown from an initial 2 to 71, and the types of goods transported have shifted from being primarily metals, chemicals and clothing to a greater focus on high-value, high-tech products, including domestic cars and home appliances, showing a clear trend toward more advanced goods.
