With the Spring Festival approaching, the Yinchuan Railway Station under the jurisdiction of CR-Lanzhou is bustling with passengers. The station is decorated with Spring Festival couplets, window flowers, Chinese knots and large red "Fu" characters, creating a festive atmosphere.

As the bold and resonant singing echoed through the waiting room, 75-year-old Jing Tingxiao, an inheritor of Huanxian Daoqing Shadow Play, began performing with his fingers deftly maneuvering the puppets while singing and reciting. Under the lighting, the shadow puppet characters engaged in thrilling battles on the "paper screen," accompanied by rhythmic recitations and melodious singing. Three other performers in the background played traditional instruments such as the four-stringed fiddle, suona and bamboo-fish drum. The exquisite shadow play, vibrant Spring Festival couplets and delicate paper cuttings allowed passengers traveling from all directions to experience the ancient charm of intangible cultural heritage and the strong festive spirit, filling the waiting room with warmth.

Since the opening of the Yinchuan-Xi'an High Speed Railway, it has become a new trend for residents along the route to take the high speed train to shop for New Year goods, enjoy intangible cultural heritage performances, watch traditional folk activities, and visit lantern festivals. Since the start of this year's Spring Festival travel season, Yinchuan Railway Station and its subordinate stations have been serving an average of 38,000 passengers daily, making travel more comfortable and convenient for passengers.
